Robert Fulling
Sportfish + motor yacht specialist, Lighthouse Point FL
About Robert
Robert Fulling founded LHP Yacht Sales in 2005 after two decades working the docks at Lighthouse Point Yacht Basin and the brokerages around Bahia Mar. He grew up on boats — a Bertram 31 his dad ran out of Pompano, then a Hatteras 53 in the Bahamas as a teenager. By the time he had his Florida brokerage license, he'd spent more time on yachts than most surveyors and most of the sales guys put together.
His business is roughly 60% sportfish, 30% motor yacht, 10% center console. South Florida is home turf — Lauderdale Marine Center, River Bend, Sportsman's Park, the Lighthouse Point inlet — but a healthy chunk of his closings the last few years have been Bahamas, Caribbean, and Mediterranean placements. He'll fly anywhere for a sea trial that's worth flying for.
What sets him apart: blunt feedback before you sign, obsessive survey + sea-trial documentation, and a referral network of mechanics, captains, and insurance brokers who actually answer the phone. Most of his business is referrals from past clients — which is how it should be at this level.
Robert is a member of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association (FYBA) and licensed under Florida Chapter 326. He holds a USCG 100-ton Master's license.
